One Year Drywall Inspection...
Comstock Homes offers you a one-year Drywall inspections. It is the homeowner's responsibility to call the main office and request their one-time inspection at 703-230-1121. Please remember this service will be for drywall repair only. Sanding and painting are not a part of this service. Thank you for your assistance. We hope you are enjoying your Comstock Home!
Ceramic Tile Care...
A word about cleaners... There are many excellent household cleaners on the market today. they should do a good job for you, so use your favorite. Remember, read and follow the manufacturer's instruction and recommended usage.
Seasonal Maintenance
Spring Maintenance
- Balance HVAC system for summer weather. Start air conditioner to be sure it is working properly.
- Turn on water supply to exterior hose bibs.
- Check roof for shingles in need of repair. Contact roofing contractor if repairs are needed.
- Check and clean out gutters and downspouts.
Autumn Maintenance
- Winterize (shut off and drain) exterior water supply to prevent pipe freezing.
- Have chimney professionally cleaned if necessary and gas fireplace adjusted.
- Balance HVAC system for winter weather. Start heat to be sure it is working properly and change the filter.
- Check and clean out gutters and downspouts.
Additional Reminders
- Use of sand, NOT SALT, is suggested on driveways and concrete surfaces when needed in winter.
- Our carpet company offers a one-time carpet stretching for no charge. Please call subcontractor to schedule.
- The HVAC offers a one-time free balancing of the system. Please call subcontractor to schedule.
- Remember to change the furnace filter regularly
